We are a group of late 20's to early 40's ladies in Boston/Cambridge (we typically meet in Back Bay or host at a member's house) who like to read, drink wine, chat and spend time together.
Not to scare anyone off, but members are expected to attend most meetings (this isn't a "drop in" sort of bookclub). Meetings are split between social time and book discussion.
We are currently seeking new members (as of 10/3/2013). If this sounds like the bookclub you're looking for, please join us!
Small group of mellow 30-40-somethings meet about once a month to discuss either current or classic books (recent choices include The Great Gatsby, Life after Life, Gone Girl, and The dinner) and are looking to add a few new members to the group.
The Social Philosophizers Club sponsors--among other forms of intellectual socializing--a book club and various study groups. Both classical and modern works of philosophical and other literary works are entertained. Our definition of philosophy is quite flexible and encompasses a broad field of philosophic perspective from the arts to wide ranging multidisciplinary study and reflection.
Please consider joining us!

This is a book club for Science Fiction fans (or people hoping to get into Science Fiction) in the Somerville/Cambridge area.
We will meet at Cafe Tango (16 Bow Street) one evening a month (possibly twice a month if there is interest).

We are an established book club that has been meeting since the early 2000's. Our membership is made up of women in their late 20's through early 40's who live or work in the city. Our members are married or single, some have kids and others do not. We meet once a month to socialize, eat, and discuss our monthly book selection. We typically meet on a Tuesday evening at a T-accessible restaurant in Boston or Cambridge.
Some of our books from last year were: The Short & Tragic Life of Robert Peace, The Girl on the Train, Brain on Fire, Patron Saint of Liars, The Rosie Project, Where'd You Go Bernadette, and Wild.
Our next meeting is in early May 2015.
